- He’s the wild man of rock who became a national treasure. Happy Mondays and Black Grape frontman Shaun Ryder is hitting the road for a new, spoken word tour. The star of more-TV-shows-than-anyone-has-a-right-to-feature-on – including Celebrity Goggle-Box, and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, among many others – redefined the sex’n’drugs’n’rock’n’roll lifestyle during the halcyon age of Madchester. He’s touring in support of his new book: Happy Mondays - and Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays. Fans can look forward to a carnival of excess, wild tales, and improbable truths, as they enjoy the talents of a unique rock'n'roll star dubbed Britpop's answer to WB Yeats. Strap yourselves in and say Hallelujah for Shaun.

- Considered to be one of the best live bands on the touring circuit, The Manfreds, featuring original Manfred Mann members Paul Jones and Tom McGuinness, are excited to be returning to some of their favourite, more intimate, venues in 2025. They are considered one of the finest and most respected bands from the 1960’s era. Their numerous hits were not just ‘pop’ songs, many were R&B based with an undercurrent of jazz - a very unusual but winning combination of playing style and substance. As a result, their records have a timeless quality and, some 60 years on, The Manfreds, with original front man Paul Jones, will be performing, many of their hits including ‘Do Wah Diddy Diddy’, one of the most popular and instantly recognisable songs of the ‘60’s and still the biggest audience pleaser at their concerts, along with a mix of Jazz and Blues covers and tracks from their individual solo albums. Paul Jones, with his unique harmonica sound, will be joined by Tom McGuinness on guitar, Pete Riley on drums, Mike Gorman on keyboards, Marcus Cliffe on bass, and Simon Currie on saxophone/ flute.

- ABC – An Intimate Evening With Martin Fry

- A Look At Life And A Look Of Live The hits earned their place in pop history. From Poison Arrow to The Look Of Love, from All Of My Heart, and Be Near Me, to When Smokey Sings, ABC were the band that redefined glamour and cool. Led by the charismatic Martin Fry, they enjoyed Transatlantic success as The Lexicon of Love proved as artful as a Warhol silkscreen, and glossier than Marilyn’s lipstick. ABC’s The Lexicon of Love was a brilliantly distinctive debut album, fizzing with bright ideas, and unapologetically flamboyant. Frontman Martin Fry harked back to a golden era of luxe, as though Cole Porter had been re-imagined among the narrow streets of Sheffield. Little wonder his sleek, opulent, and beautiful debut retains the affection of listeners four decades on. With good reason, it has stood the test of time. And so has Martin Fry, who will bring an evening of stripped-back music and conversation to UK theatres in celebration. His intimate tour follows a sold-out tour of the UK, which included three sell out nights at London Palladium, and coincides with the publication of his autobiography. That’s the look, that’s the look… The Look of love.

- Featuring Peter Hook and the Light, The Wedding Present, The Farm and Spear of Destiny Scarborough Spa are delighted to announce a brand new event, “Interzone”. Featuring a host of bands, including The Wedding Present, Spear of Destiny, The Farm and headlined by Peter Hook and the Light. English rock group Peter Hook and the Light formed by bassist and vocalist Peter Hook, formerly of the influential post-punk bands Joy Division and New Order, will be headlining the Grand Hall stage next May. Back in May 2010, the band revisited Joy Division’s seminal album “Unknown Pleasures” for a commemorative charity concert and since then, have performed live the repertoire of Hooky's bands, New Order and Joy Division. Hooky's dedication to his back catalogue has seen him move through “Closer”, “Still”, “Movement”, “Power Corruption & Lies”, "Low Life", "Brotherhood", “Technique” and “Republic to arrive at this point and having toured extensively with the band, The Light have come to amass around 600 shows in the decade since their first concert. Leeds Pop Rockers, The Wedding Present, closely linked to the C86 scene, have charted a total of eighteen singles in the top 40 of the UK singles charts, including a historic run of twelve singles – one for each month – in 1992, which tied Elvis Presley’s record for most top 40 hits in a single year. From Liverpool, The Farm, are a British rock band formed back in 1989. Their first song to reach the top part of the UK singles chart was “Groovy Train”. In late November that year, they released their most memorable song, “All Together Now” which instantly became a hit and peaked at number three in the charts in December 1990. It was on the crest of this wave that their album Spartacus reached No. 1 in the UK the following year. It’s a recent return for the band who last year supported Cast on their August headline show at the Scarborough Spa. British post-punk band, Spear of Destiny, were formed in London, England back in 1982 by lead vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Kirk Brandon.

- "The consultant had told me he was confident I had throat cancer that had spread into the lymph glands. Joyfully, I held his hand, and looked up to the heavens like a South American footballer after scoring a goal. It was one of the happiest moments of my life." Join multi award-winning, BAFTA-nominated writer and comedian Mark Steel for his new tour ‘The Leopard in My House’. The topic? His battle with throat cancer. A battle he is winning (thankfully) and which only his rapier wit could fashion a comedy tour show out of. Cancer has done nothing to dull Mark's acute political observations or quash his "frankly bonkers" energy: you will laugh, you will cry, but you'll laugh again, and again, and again. The Leopard in My House is proof that this leftie, working-class, Radio 4 favourite truly deserves his place in the UK comedy pantheon. Mark Steel is best known for his critically-acclaimed BBC Radio 4 show Mark Steel’s in Town (now in its 13th series), as well as his hit podcast What The F*** Is Going On…?. He has presented the BAFTA-nominated Mark Steel Lectures for BBC Two, and is a regular on BBC One’s Have I Got News for You and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz. He has also written several acclaimed books, including an adaptation of his critically acclaimed stand-up show Who Do I Think I Am? for Audible. Tickets on sale this Friday 11am.

- The new rescheduled date is Thursday 22nd May 2025 All tickets from the postponed October 2024 show remain valid. The UK’s biggest country music export The Shires have announced an intimate acoustic tour for 2024. The two of us tour will see Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes tour the length and breadth of the UK performing all their classic tracks. The Shires achievements speak for themselves: three consecutive UK Top 3 albums, four #1 UK Country albums, 100 million+ streams, two Gold-certified records, and countless sold-out headline shows, including filling the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. The Shires first broke through in 2014 with their single ‘Nashville Grey Skies’, a playful song about Britain needing its own country scene. And that’s something which they helped happen, starting with their 2015 debut Brave, which became the first ever Top 10 album by a UK country music artist. That success continued with a succession of hit albums: 2016’s My Universe, 2018’s Accidentally On Purpose, 2020’s Good Years and 2022’s 10 Year Plan. Their authenticity saw them embraced by the Nashville scene immediately, leading to two CMA Awards, touring highlights including C2C Festival and shows as guests to Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, The Corrs and more.

- Do you have questions after a breakup that were left unanswered? Well Lydia did, so she sent a questionnaire to all her ex-partners and made a show out of it. Closure? is a one act comedy performance following Lydia De La Murrãy on her journey of self-discovery through analysing all her past relationships…in great detail. Lydia is a cheesy music-loving, serial-dating, northern lass who's seeking closure after a particularly dysfunctional relationship that was swarmed with controversy and drama; so naturally it needed to be made into a show. If you like statistics, interpretive dance, and Daniel Bedingfield then you’ll love this show. Audiences will leave laughing, deciding if Lydia has actually gained closure and with some noughties classics stuck in their heads.

- Great to have Callaghan back in Scarborough again with a spanking new album in the works ‘ The Music You Gsve To Me ‘ supported by Ant Clarke on keyboards and backing vocals. Originally from the UK, Callaghan moved to the USA in 2010 to tour and record with Grammy-nominated US artist Shawn Mullins. Since then she’s become a headliner in multiple cities across the US and UK. Playing piano and guitar Callaghan delivers a stunning vocal which earns frequent comparisons with artists like Sarah McLachlan and Emmylou Harris. Her songwriting chronicles the stories, experiences and emotions which are part of everyone’s lives. After spending 4 years in Nashville recording her second studio album A History Of Now, the latest chapter of Callaghan’s journey has taken her to LA to record self-titled album Callaghan out now. The new recordings are a collaboration with producers Starr Parodi and Jeff Eden Fair (James Bond, Heart of Frida, Harry Potter, Mission Impossible) and Anthony Resta (Elton John, Duran Duran, Blondie). - The Corrs are Ireland’s first family of music, a multi-million selling sibling quartet who have conquered the world with a seamless blend of sleek pop rock, lush harmonies and Celtic folk trimmings. Comprising Andrea (lead vocals, piano, tin whistle), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals) and Jim(guitar, keyboards, vocals), The Corrs have sold more than 40 million albums since their debut Forgiven, Not Forgotten in 1995, spawning a dozen classic hit singles. An enchanting mix of traditional Celtic music with a pop rock twist, The Corrs have written some of the biggest songs of the last three decades. Forgiven, Not Forgotten gave us the incredible title track, the exquisite Heaven Knows and of course, arguably one of the biggest contemporary songs of the modern era, Runaway. Their second album, Talk On Corners led with I Never Loved You Anyway, So Young and Only When I Sleep and is their biggest selling album to date. The Corrs 2005 album, Home, was dedicated to their mother, and focused on traditional Irish songs. The group took a hiatus after Home, to concentrate on raising families. By early 2015, they resumed writing sessions together and returned to action with huge global tours in a period that has seen them release two of their most mature albums, White Light (2015) and the T Bone Burnett produced Jupiter Calling (2017). The Corrs recent Arena tour saw sold out shows across the UK and Ireland and the group cannot wait to return to the stage in 2025, including what promises to be two incredible nights in Yorkshire

Gary will headline TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Friday 13th June. It is the second time Gary has headlined the UK’s largest open air gig arena after his sold-out show in 2018. The Songbook Tour 2025 will celebrate Gary’s status as one of Britain’s most successful songwriters and record producers. As part of the group Take That he has won eight BRIT Awards and sold more than 45 million records. One of the band’s biggest hits, Back For Good, will turn 30 in March 2025. The track is still ranked as one of the UK’s favorite-ever pop songs having reached Number One on its release in March 1995 and remaining top of the charts for four consecutive weeks, going on to become the band’s biggest-selling song of the 1990s. This year, Gary hit the road with his fellow Take That bandmates for a huge world tour, playing sell-out shows and delighting their huge fanbase around the world with This Life On Tour, which saw them sell more than one million tickets. Their album of the same name, This Life, released in 2023, scored the band their 12th Number One album in the UK, spawning massive hits including Windows and This Life. The band also curated their very own four-day festival in Malta in October - The Greatest Weekend, where they performed their iconic album Everything Changes live, in its entirety for the first time since its release in 1993. Aside from his achievements with Take That, he has also co-written and produced music for other renowned artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams, and most recently, he wrote the song Running Wild for JIN from Korean super group, BTS. Earlier this month Gary toasted the third anniversary of his award-winning wine range, Gary Barlow Wines with the release of a five-part ITV series, Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour: South Africa, which saw the much-loved musician explore the other passions in his life of wine and travel. - While many of their electronic contemporaries have looked to technology to make their gigs a compelling experience, Basement Jaxx have always embraced a maximalist approach that would combine an dizzying and ever growing array of singers, MCs, musicians and eventually whole troupes of dancers to turn any stage into a life-affirming cavorting carnival of music. “After a few years DJing round the globe, it’ll be great to return to the live stage and the Live Show Experience” said Basement Jaxx’s Felix Buxton. “To connect to people with life affirming energy and give people a great time.” Starting in 1994 with a series of underground EPs on their own Atlantic Jaxx label, Felix and Simon Ratcliffe’s distinctive combination of house and garage with punk attitude, global influences and unforgettable tunes quickly developed a cult following that led to their 1999 first album Remedy with its breakthrough hits Red Alert, Rendez Vu and Jump & Shout. 2001’s follow up Rooty was even bigger and louder: Where’s Your Head At provided an evergreen anthem that still crosses all generations and genres. Right from the start Felix and Simon’s live experience was a showstopper that grew to the spectacular festival experience that led to headline slots at Glastonbury: first on The Other Stage, then by 2005, the same year they won the GRAMMY for best electronic album, Coachella, the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage and London’s Hyde Park. “It’s great our hits are still very much alive with younger generations,” said Felix, “so we connect across the age range – and it’ll be great to pop in a couple of bangers from our forthcoming album too.” The last 10 years have seen Basement Jaxx remain festival favourites but headlining behind the decks rather than at the front of the stage – but the time is now right to bring back the full eye-popping technicolour experience and as Felix puts it: “It feels like 2025 is the beginning of a new era for many and I think that’s probably true for Basement Jaxx too” Register for pre-sale below

- Hannah – The Soldier Diaries and the amazing Zoe Wright are back in this new production for June 2025 at the Scarborough Spa Theatre. Following a fantastic debut run in April 2024, the Hannah story has evolved, and this updated version with a strap line ‘The Missing Pages’ returns to the Scarborough Spa in June 2025. The original stage version’s story concentrated very much on Hannah a young hairdresser and students relationship with Jack a Lance Corporal in the British Army. Whilst this new version initially also follows that narrative, this new production of Hannah fills in 'The Missing Pages' and tells the story of her relationship with Jack’s brother Alex, who not only looks out for her whilst Jack is away fighting in the Afghan War, he also struggles desperately not to fall in love with her. Featuring songs from the original show we have added eleven brand new songs which we are sure your gonna love. With its new content, Hannah – The Soldier Diaries ‘The Missing Pages’ will appeal to both those who have loved the original version and those new to Hannah. We look forward to seeing you for this wonderful production once again Made & Set in Scarborough. - Northern Irish-Scottish rockers Snow Patrol – fronted by Gary Lightbody with longtime members Nathan Connolly and Johnny McDaid – have been shaping the sound of alternative rock for more than 20 years. With iconic tracks like Chasing Cars, Run, and Open Your Eyes, their emotionally charged anthems continue to resonate with fans worldwide, solidifying their place as one of the most influential bands in modern rock. The band recently celebrated a major milestone with their first Number 1 album in 18 years. The Forest Is The Path marks the rock band’s triumphant return to the top of the charts, following the massive success of Eyes Open in 2006. Featuring 12 tracks and artwork created by founding member Gary Lightbody, their latest album is a journey of contrasts – epically joyous, life-affirming and huge – with Lightbody describing it as 'the biggest sounding record we have ever made.” With eight studio albums, including the multi-platinum Eyes Open, Snow Patrol have sold more than 16 million records worldwide. Their legacy is further solidified by numerous accolades including seven Meteor Ireland Music Awards, six BRIT Award nominations and a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Song. - The Pine Hill Haints made such a great impression at Filey Americana Festival last year we had no hesitation in inviting them to play at the OPO with Yorkshire’s own Serious Sam Barrett opening up and joining them on stage. Not many bands can claim that they were formed in a cemetery. But it was a perfect and appropriately poetic setting for the birth of roots music trailblazers The Pine Hill Haints. Just to address the obvious, the word “haint,” of archaic English origin, means to haunt or to inhabit aggressively. And with a medium-like connection, The Haints have spent the last two decades resurrecting all kinds of music that has passed out of the mainstream – in a style they call “Alabama Ghost Country.” “Twenty-five years ago, there was a group of us in Auburn and we were all into roots music,” recalls front man Jamie Barrier of their beginnings. “Meanwhile, me and my roommates had started a skateboard company. Whenever the police would come after us, everybody would run in a different direction, so they’d have to choose which of the eight they were going to chase. But every skater knew to meet up right beside my apartment, which was next to the Pine Hill Cemetery. I could open a window and walk out into the cemetery. It got to where we’d go into the cemetery with acoustic instruments and just jam. “In some ways, we preceded the whole roots movement,” he continues. “But in other ways, nobody preceded anything. I guess where we were coming from has a lot more teeth for me than what’s happening now. People are almost afraid to say they love country without trying to up the rock side. But I think about the Carter Family just playing “You Are My Sunshine.” The purity and emotion of that. It’s almost like the hardest angle to find in country music today, so we wanted to really go there.” On the band’s latest long-player, The Song Companion of a Lonestar Cowboy, they go there and to other colorful places on the Americana and Appalachian trail. The fifteen song sequence kicks off with “Fall Asleep” and “Back to Alabama,” a fiery pair of rockabilly-meets-Irish-jig rave-ups, then winds through standout tracks like the Bo Diddley-grooved “Pretty Thing,” a pounding tom-tom and fiddle take on the traditional “John Henry” and the catchy, cajun-flavored squeezebox pop of “Lone Star Kid.” There are excursions into Sun Records-style country (“Midnight Mayor” and “Louise”) and swampy blues (the saw-singing “Wade in the Water” and “Downtown Blues,” which features guest J.D. Wilkes on harmonica). Throughout, Barrier’s strong tenor voice rings familiar and friendly, with deep echoes of everything from John Lee Hooker to Buddy Holly to Johnny Cash. And the band plays with a sense of abandon that comes from thousands of gigs behind them. It all sounds deceptively simple, but anyone who plays music knows better. The Haints do something very few roots bands can, which is to transcend influences and sculpt age-old sounds into soul music for our time.

- Stephen Joseph Theatre, Westborough, Scarborough

- On 14 July 1955, an ambitious young theatrical pioneer called Stephen Joseph opened a revolutionary new theatre… on the first floor of Scarborough Library. The Library Theatre was the first in-the-round theatre in the UK in modern times – it’s since been replicated worldwide. Theatregoers in Scarborough and beyond embraced the new format, and the ‘temporary’ Library Theatre hosted performances until 1976, when it moved to another – also ‘temporary’! – home in a former school at the town’s Westwood. That ran until 1996, when we found our final home in the former Odeon Cinema. The Stephen Joseph Theatre is now a cultural beacon on the Yorkshire coast, attracting audiences from across the globe. We’ll be celebrating our 70 years in style on Sunday 13 July 2025, with, amongst other things, a cornucopia of extracts from some of our favourite plays from those seven decades, performed script-in-hand by some of our favourite actors – we hope you can join us! Keep coming back here for more information as our plans develop. Tickets are £20 but we have a limited number of VIP tickets available for £70 - these include: A souvenir programme Entry to the post-show gala Post-show buffet including a glass of prosecco To book VIP tickets please contact us directly by calling our Box Office on 01723 370541 or emailing tickets@sjt.uk.com. This will ensure we can book your preferred seats. The SJT is a Registered Charity (253606). All money raised will go towards our New Work Fund, helping us put brand new work on our stages and nurture new talent.

- TS5 has come to epitomise Craig David’s skill as a multifaceted performer – singing, MCing and DJing all at once – securing its status as an unmissable party and fan favourite. And with more than 1.5 million people worldwide experiencing TS5 to date, the growth of the brand is an unstoppable force. Craig said: “I cannot wait to bring my TS5 show to Scarborough and the beautiful Yorkshire coast in July. 2025 is a massive year for me, as it’s the 25th anniversary of my debut album, and my debut number one single. What better way to celebrate than bringing the party to Scarborough this summer?" TS5 started out as the most exclusive pre-party hosted by Craig at his penthouse home in Miami. Craig’s set combines massive old skool anthems from R&B to Swing beat, to Garage and Bashment, while merging current chart-topping House hits. With Craig’s amazing ability to sing, MC and work the crowd while DJing simultaneously it’s clear to see how the growth of TS5 has emerged. Before the success of his solo career, Craig started out as a DJ working the UK club circuit; he then went on to sell more than 15 million albums as an artist, enjoying 14 Top 10 hits and achieving multi-platinum status in more than 20 countries. - Whitby District Lion’s Club is very excited to announce that The Whitby Beer Festival is a back for 2024! The charity beer festival is held in aid of Whitby & District Lion’s Club. This year the festival is celebrating its 13th year and the club intends to celebrate the growing reputation of the festival of serving over 30 of the very best artisan ales, boutique beers and scrumptious ciders from award-winning local and regional independent brewers and micro-breweries. Please see the list of beers and ciders we served at our 2023 festival, at the bottom of this page. The festival as always is being held at the Whitby Mission & Seafarers Centre, Haggersgate in Whitby which is ideally located in the centre of the town. The festival opens its doors from Thursday 25th July until Sunday 28th July. The opening times are from 12 Noon until 10 PM Thursday to Saturday and 12 Noon until 4 PM on Sunday. Entrance tickets cost just £5 which includes a commemorative festival tankard, which is yours to keep as a souvenir and one beer token (for one ½ pint measures). Beer tickets can then be purchased throughout the festival. Last year the festival raised an amazing £5,000.00 for Whitby Lion’s with 100% of this been donated to many local Whitby charities that the club supports throughout the year. Whitby Lion’s is part of Lions International which is the biggest voluntary charity network in the world with over 1.7 million members. All the money we raise from the festival and throughout the year from our other events is kept and spent locally. The club provides vital funding which can be difficult to access for small independent charities that we support. We also support many personal good causes, helping people with disability, learning or health needs. As a club, we also run our Disability Scooter Scheme which hires out mobility scooters (free of charge) to anyone who has difficulty getting out and about. The total raised last year included the one-off purchase of some beer barrel cooling jackets, these ensure our beers are cool enough to serve throughout the festival. Therefore, the actual amount raised would have been higher. This purchase secures the long term future of the festival to be self sufficient and deliver a better customer experience. The festival boasts an excellent range of delicious traditional hand-crafted real ales ranging from pale ales, IPA’s, bitters, blonds, golden, dark milds to porters which have all been brewed in small batches using locally sourced ingredients. All our real ales are served from traditional draught casks, this gives our real ales a fresher authentic taste. You will not find any mass-produced carbonated beer here. We also have an exceptional range of real ciders to enjoy from traditional scrumpy, dry, sweet or to the ever popular fruity ciders such as mango and strawberry. All our ciders have been made from real apples and fruit by dedicated small producers, that use a natural production method of making deliciously mellow, aromatic or sweet great tasting ciders. Our festival warmly welcomes anyone who wants to sample our great produce from tourists, day-trippers, evening goers and real ale enthusiasts. Families are very welcome as soft drinks are available for children and all we ask is for children to be supervised by an adult. Every year the festival is friendly and has a relaxed atmosphere, especially when the sun is out, as we have outside seating, which is a great way to bring along some friends, family or just by yourself and enjoy our real ale and ciders. The Whitby Mission Café which is located just next to the hall where the festival is been held, the café serves homemade food all day which will brilliantly complement your real ale or cider. Bar snacks are also available throughout the festival at the bar. On behalf of Whitby & District Lions, we thank you for your past and continued support and we look forward to seeing you there, Cheers! Event Information Entry Fee – £5.00 (Includes 1 beer token and a commemorative glass tankard). Beer sold in 1/2 pint measures only. - Almost 30 years on from the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Reverence, Faithless have established themselves as one of the most influential electronic acts of the 21st century. They continue to prove it is possible to achieve both critical and commercial success while delivering boundary-pushing dance music with feeling and integrity. Faithless have sold more than 20 million albums, including 17 Top 40 singles, six Top 10 albums (three at Number One), and amassing more than a billion combined streams to date. Their UK Top 10 singles include such anthems as Salva Mea, We Come 1, One Step Too Far, Mass Destruction, Insomnia andGod Is A DJ, The band’s cultural significance is unparalleled – leading the charge of dance acts cutting through on a global level and showing electronic music deserves its place on the main stages. Last year’s return to the live arena, after eight years away, saw sold-out shows across Europe. Orbital became one of the biggest names in music during the mid-1990s by reinventing the notion of what a dance act could do live, turning multitudes of rock fans on to the limitless pleasures of electronic music. They have crafted a vast catalogue of ambitious yet accessible music, informed by a wide range of genres such as ambient, electro, punk and film scores. Since breaking through with their landmark 1990 Top 20 hit Chime, Orbital have released a string of critically praised albums – including the 1993 landmark Orbital 2 and 1996's In Sides. Their 10th studio album, 2023’s Optical Delusion, included fabulous, furious lead single Dirty Rat, a collaboration with Sleaford Mods.

- One of the greatest British comedies ever written, Noises Off is a hilarious and heartfelt tribute to the unpredictability of life in the theatre. Called “the funniest farce ever written”, Noises Off follows the on and off-stage antics of a touring theatre company as they stumble their way through the fictional farce, Nothing On. Across three acts we witness: the shambolic final rehearsals, a disastrous matinee seen entirely from backstage and their brilliantly catastrophic final performance. We’re delighted to present the first ever in the round production of Michael Frayn’s comedy masterpiece.

- When The Smashing Pumpkins first emerged out of Chicago in 1988, their sound was different, iconoclastic, and wholly new – and it still is today. As a result, they’ve sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and collected two GRAMMY Awards, seven MTV VMAs and an American Music Award. The band – Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin – continue to spin together rock, pop, shoe-gaze, metal, goth, psychedelia, and electronic into a kaleidoscope of saccharine melodies, fuzzy distortion, bombastic orchestration, incendiary fretwork, eloquent songcraft, and unshakable hooks. Their incredible catalogue is highlighted by the platinum Gish (1991), the quadruple-platinum Siamese Dream (1993), diamond-certified Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (1995), platinum Adore (1998), and gold-selling Machina/The Machines of God (2000). As prolific as ever, 2023 saw the release ATUM, a rock opera presented in three acts, alongside a massive sold out North American tour. It was followed just nine months later by Aghori Mhori Mei – the band’s 13th studio album. London band White Lies emerged as one of Britain’s most important guitar bands with the launch of their UK Number One debut album To Lose My Life in 2009 – which led to a Brit Award nomination, a stadium tour with Coldplay, and appearances on David Letterman and Jools Holland, and five further studio albums. - It’s the show night out not to be missed – wowing crowds in Blackpool since 2014, and now touring the country – OH WHAT A NITE! is a different style of tribute show to any other that you will have seen or heard of before. Matt Andrew leads our vocal quartet as our tribute to Frankie Valli – telling the story of the band and how they formed the group which took them to the dizzy heights of television appearances, fame and fortune… all performed alongside an amazing trio of vocal talent – Johnny, Michael and Toby who take the roles of Nick Massey, Bob Guadio and Tommy Devito Comedy host Leye D Johns can’t be kept away from the stage for too long either, bringing a light hearted flavour to proceedings and ensuring the crowd leave with a big smile on their face. Our Viva showgirls complete the cast line-up – bringing the moves of the 60s and 70s to the stage as well as backing vocals, and solo numbers of their own bringing the era back to life! The show also has a way of bringing current hits to life too, with that same Doo Wop style – again making OH WHAT A NITE! different to any tribute show you’ll ever see! Stunning costumes, choreography, production and more – all to take you back to the era when hit song, after hit song had ‘The Four Seasons’ famous around the World. - Canadian song maestro STEPHEN FEARING is back after a busy few years performing and writing with others (Blackie & the Rodeo Kings, Fearing & White) now comes an opportunity to relish Stephen Fearing solo again. Listening to the songs on the long anticipated new album ‘The Empathist’ you’ll be struck by his voice, melodies and stories – Stephen’s on top form proudly wearing his influences whilst holding on to his truly original voice; as one reviewer puts it “…music isn’t just what he does, it’s who he is.” Stephen is a great performer with the wow factor, as well as being an all-round nice chap! Stephen Fearing is one of Canada’s most respected performers. A stunning guitar player with a smooth, intimate and powerful voice, who throughout his career has penned some of the most literate, stirring and emotionally charged “folk” music you’re ever likely to hear. Why not come along and experience it for yourself and find out what all the fuss is about… and as suggested by No Depression “sit and listen long.” “Fearing delivers his reflections, recollections and observations with an enveloping lyricism and he has in the past quarter century become the complete artist.” – Penguin Eggs “…nothing short of magnificent. What an amazing collection of songs! …one of the music world’s finest in the craft and art of the song.” – Bob Chelmick, CKUA Radio “…showcase Fearing’s arresting voice, accomplished acoustic picking, and his ability to turn a phrase with ease. The storied songs invite you to grab a coffee, and sit and listen long.” – No Depression

- Mark Berry (Bez) was born in Bolton, the son of parents from the Norris Green district of Liverpool. His father was a detective inspector. Bez first came to prominence at the turn-of-the-1990’s as the maraca-wielding dancer with ‘Madchester’ giants Happy Mondays. Neither an accomplished musician nor even a very good dancer, Bez was a prime candidate for fleeting celebrity, soon to sink into ‘Where Are They Now?’ obscurity. That, however, never happened, nor does it show any sign of happening. Through Black Grape, the second band he co-fronted with the Mondays’ Shaun Ryder, and his ever-presence in the mass media, (Gogglebox, MasterChef, Celebrity Big Brother, and Dancing on Ice) Bez’s popularity has grown exponentially, his star rocketing ever upwards! When he bowled into Celebrity Big Brother in 2005, he ended up winning the series, as viewers came to understand his fundamental decency and sunny outlook. His adult life has been extraordinary: unbelievable scrapes with mortality, periods of financial ruin, and narcotic-strewn hi-jinks. Join Bez, as he talks about his extraordinary life and career, the story of a bad lad who has turned his life good, tracing his passage from twenty- thirty-something casualty to middle-aged politician, eco-warrior, and bee-aficionado. This is an event not to be missed!

Little did he know that things were about to turn even more sour… But Rhod’s not bitter; he’s bouncing back and feeling remarkably zesty. Hilariously dark, passionate and way too personal, this is classic Gilbert, squeezing every last drop out of life’s latest curveballs...with a little help from an old adversary. “DARKLY HILARIOUS. Reflecting on this project, Sir Van shared: “These songs are meant to be sung and heard, and I am really happy that Leo is carrying the torch" Leo Green: “I have been truly humbled by the reaction to this project-it was such an honour for us to present these incredible songs to audiences around the UK in 2024 and I have already started planning what will be on the set-list for 2025, which marks 30 years since we recorded the “Days Like This” album with Van – we will definitely be featuring some of the songs from that incredible album!” With Leo’s accompanying commentary, audiences are taken into the studio and on the road with Van Morrison-this unique concert promises an unforgettable evening, showcasing the timeless music and poetic words that have cemented Sir Van Morrison's place in musical history.
