Join Mandy Apple and Friends for wassailing where they will sing, dance and celebrate our local apple trees (and all things apple!) They will be meeting at Mandy Apple from 5:30 to start the activities and make their own wassailing cups, and then walk down to Woodend Gardens to visit the local Apple trees where they will share poetry and have a sing, and wake the apple trees up for spring. What should I wear? – Reminder to wear warm clothes as you will be outside, and don’t be afraid to dress up a bit and be playful with the apple theme. Or wear colours of red, green and pink. They also encourage people who play any instruments to being them along for the wassail parade. Pots and pans, drums, bells, any noisemakers you have! This event is pay what you feel/can, no need to prebook just pay when you arrive. Hope to see you all there!
