We would probably all agree November is a pretty drab month and with Halloween and Guy Fawkes out the way and the tourists largely gone there is little to look forward to until Christmas. So what better than a festival of light to bring much needed brightness to the town?
Scarborough Lights is the first major event brought to us by the newly formed Scarborough Fair events team, headed up by experienced event organiser Julian Caddy.
With buildings lit, art installations, drone displays and a huge selection of displays in Peasholm Park there really is something for everyone, with most events running for two weeks or more to give both locals and visitors the chance to experience it.
