Review: “These Majestic Creatures”

“These Majestic Creatures”, set in a Scarborough b&b, is a masterclass in understanding the complex world of families, in particular the relationship between mothers and daughters which is shown evolving through the generations.

This two-hander has amazing actors Ingrid Bolton-Gabrielsen and Andrina Carroll playing three parts between them, effortlessly moving from scene to scene with a clever set helping you to keep up with the fast pace, directed brilliantly by Kash Arshad.

Thing culminate in a powerful scene where a shocking, dark secret is finally revealed after many years, evoking strong emotions through highly powerful acting.

At the Stephen Joseph Theatre until November 4th.
