Review – The Light House

Writing and performing a single-hander is no mean feat and it’s hard to believe this was Alys Williams first attempt.

A powerful, true story of love, hope, belief, despair and support surrounding a mental health journey the analogy with tragedy at sea is inspired and entertaining.

Alys is a born storyteller and, with a strong team behind her, has crafted an intelligent production that uses props, moody lighting and even the audience as extras to keep the audience enthralled throughout.

If you have been involved directly or indirectly with mental health you will leave with a tear in your eye but hope in your heart and the standing ovation was very well-deserved.
