Review – SealSkin

This is the story of the legendary selfies, seals who shed their skins and come ashore in human form.  When a fisherman discovers their secret things in the close-knit village start to unravel.

As a company Tmesis are constantly evolving and their staging of this classic story is very inventive, using a powerful mix of puppetry, projection, storytelling and live music to great effect delivering a moving experience.  Events wash over you in an entrancing way.

A big shout out to the very strong cast and in particular to the incredibly talented musical due Me and Deboe, providing great music throughout.

Yes another example of inventive and diverse programming from the Stephen Joseph Theatre.
