There has been a manor leap in progress on the the SQ1 Centre, a redevelopment of the existing Brunswick Centre, as space is being offered to prospective retailers for occupation in 2027.

It was previously announced that a milestone was reached when Odeon Luxe signed as operator of the seven screen cinema complex. Now the search is on for a blend of top national brands alongside emerging regional and indie food operators to occupy the rest of the complex.
Construction in due to commence shortly on what will be an important step for Scarborough.
