Beautiful park great for families. There is a boating Lake, a walk around the island in the middle of the lake, gucks and geese are plentiful. The Navel Warfare twice a week is good fun too. There is a café and Ice Cream stall.
Beautiful park, really well maintained. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, not at all what you would expect. There are lots of places to sit, and there are toilets and a cafe too. The cafe did a very nice hot chocolate, and not overpriced.
A great place to feed squirrels, it is well worth a visit.Such happy childhood memories, and the fun continues. Too early in the year for us but the park has naval battles, lights, pirate ships. Great walks all year round.
